Phoenix Invitational, May 18th, 19th & 20th

phoenix logoThe Greensboro Sportsplex will be hosting the Phoenix Invitational basketball tournament this coming weekend (May 18th, 19th & 20th). Come to the Sportsplex and watch some outstanding basketball talent from around the southeast... There will be an admission fee charged for this event! In addition, on Sunday (May 20th) the Sportsplex will be hosting a High Performance volleyball clinic for advanced and elite volleyball players.

Tetrat Brazil, based out of Rio De Janeiro is now a part of Challenger Sports, the largest youth coaching organization in the country. Tetra Brazil has been providing their unique Brazilian style coaching to individual players and teams in the US for over 10 years, they also organize custom created soccer tours to Brazil combining competitive play, sightseeing and professional training

Futsal is the official five-a-side indoor soccer game and the only indoor soccer recognized by FIFA. Futsal is beginning to take the country by storm as more and more American soccer players, coaches, clubs and associations discover the unique and positive qualities of Futsal. It is a game played around the world as many of today's world stars began their youth soccer by playing Futsal. The Brazilians attribute their world soccer success to Futsal. Parents are welcome to attend and meet the Director and Counselors before they register for camp!

PLEASE NOTE: For credit card security reasons you can not register and pay for more then one camp within a 15 minute time-line. If you register and pay for one camp, you may continue to register for additional camps (within the 15 minute time-line) by clicking the 'Will pay by check' option at the bottom of the registration form. This will ensure your camp reservation and we will contact you for additional payment information.

Parent/Camper Information Guide (Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to view)

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  1. Registration deadline for each week will be the Friday prior to the start of the week you are registering.
  2. Each week has a maximum capacity of 30 children so please to register to guarantee your child's spot in camp.
  3. A parent orientation and counselor meet and greet will be held prior to the first week of camp (Date and Time TBA)
  4. LUNCH: Please pack a healthy bag lunch for your camper each day.  Additional snacks and drinks will be provided during the day.
  5. Please be prepared to fill out some additional paperwork regarding medical conditions and emergencies when you arrive at the beginning of each week.

Our Specialized Clinic Sessions will focus on position-specific, skill-specilized training to help prepare players to get the most out of their summer camps and to prepare them for tryouts in the fall.

High School Team Camps

High School Summer League
$100/Team
Coaches, The Greensboro Sportsplex is pleased to announce our Summer 2011 High School Volleyball Summer League.  The league will run on Mondays, July 11, 18, 25, and Friday, July 29, from 6:00 -9:00 PM at the Greensboro Sportsplex.  Play will depend upon number of entrants, but this is a great way to get ahead of the competition and be sharp heading into preseason.  For more information, please contact Trevor Hewitt at 336 373 3279, or EMAIL.
