Greensboro Sportsplex

The Greensboro Sportsplex will be hosting the Phoenix Invitational basketball tournament this coming weekend (May 18th, 19th & 20th). Come to the Sportsplex and watch some outstanding basketball talent from around the southeast... There will be an admission fee charged for this event! In addition, on Sunday (May 20th) the Sportsplex will be hosting a High Performance volleyball clinic for advanced and elite volleyball players.

Travel Team tryouts for Team Phoenix Elite 14U Boys (8th Grade) basketball team. These tryouts are only for players that want to compete at a 'Showcase Level' and will be held at the Greensboro Sportsplex.

Tryout dates and times are;
January 31st, February 2nd & 7th
6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
$5.00 per-player, per tryout

Camp CrossOver is a youth basketball initiative for players of all skill levels, ages 7-17, and has built a reputation for being one of the most successful camps in the Hampton Roads area.

Who Can Attend?: Boys and Girls of all skill levels from ages 7 – 17
When is the camp?: July 30-August 3, 2012, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Where is the camp being held?: We are proud to announce that Camp Crossover 2011 will be held in an all new facility, The Greensboro Sportsplex in Greensboro, North Carolina!! The Greensboro Sportsplex is located at: 2400 16th Street, Greensboro, NC 27406 – Map

This year’s theme will focus on four C’s: “Choices, Character, Competency and Cash”.

In order to convey these four C’s and work toward our goal to teach, train, empower, and develop the next generation of leaders through sports, Camp Crossover 2011 will offer:

• Advanced skills training for teenagers provided by specialized professional trainers, to help take their basketball development to the next level
• Daily shooting competitions and 5-on-5 league play
• Daily educational life skills sessions
• Top speakers, coaches, and players; including current and past NBA players, to provide one-on-one instruction to our youth
• An unforgettable experience

• Campers should come prepared to have fun, learning basic fundamental skills and team concepts of competitive basketball in a safe, structured environment. Campers are expected to sweat, run, jump, and work hard to sharpen skills always giving their best.
